The veterinary profession has been fortunate to have vaccinations available against many deadly and/or serious diseases available for our patients. Recently, our profession has re-evaluated recommendations for frequency of many of our vaccinations. At Colonial Veterinary Hospital, we aim to protect your pet against preventable diseases while trying to minimize unnecessary vaccination. Our vaccination recommendations are tailored to each individual pet and depend on factors such as species, age, risk of exposure, history of reaction, severity of disease, and efficacy of available vaccine.
